The film’s lead actor’s shocking revelation about Marco

unni mukundan (Unni Mukundan) ‘Marco’ is being described as the most violent film ever made in India. The Malayalam film, to be released in December 2024, was widely watched across India. It has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India. In an exclusive conversation with India Today, actor Unni Mukundan told that around 300 liters of fake blood was used during the shooting of Marco. In fact, due to this liquid he could even lose his eyesight.
During the conversation, Unni Mukundan revealed that around 250-300 liters of liquid that looked like blood was used during the shooting of the film. He said, “It was a chemical with a lot of sugar in it. So if you are diabetic, you should not be a part of such a gory film (laughs). It is very sweet.”
Mukundan also shared that he took a big risk without understanding its dangers. The actor said, “I had trouble because I had to put a special kind of chemical in my eyes to make them look more red and realistic.” However, due to this he could lose his vision. “The liquid became sticky due to changes in temperature. My doctor later told me that this could have really harmed my eyes. I should not have done this.” he admitted.
Let us tell you that Marco was released in Hindi along with Malayalam on 20th December. Directed by Hanif Adeni, the film is a spin-off of the 2019 Malayalam film, Mikhail. The Telugu and Tamil versions of the film were released on 1 and 3 January.
