Bollywood’s popular choreographer Saroj Khan has worked with big superstars. Saroj Khan taught actors such dance moves, which still remain a favorite of fans. Madhuri Dixit has also been his disciple, who made a place in the hearts of fans with her dance as well as the top actress of 80 and 90s. Its credit goes to the late choreographer Saroj Khan. Many songs from Madhuri Dixit’s many songs, Tamma Tamma Laye, Kya Hai Kya Hai, Ek Do Teen, Beginning to Push and Kya Hai behind Choli are still heard in wedding, parties. But do you know that Madhuri Dixit had one of these popular songs, in which Saroj Khan saved the censor board scissors.
The pair of Madhuri and Saroj Khan worked in the Bollywood film son’s Evergreen song Dhak Dhak Dhak Karin, which was narrated by the censor board by Saroj Khan. In 2012, in a documentary called The Saroj Khan Story, he told how some members of the Censor Board (CBFC) had a problem with Madhuri Dixit’s dance steps in a song of the film and wanted to remove the entire face. He further told that a female member of the censor board, who was in saris and high heels, found Madhuri’s chest movement vulgar.
He said, “I told him, ‘Madam, get up.’ When she woke up, I said, ‘Come on.’ And when she moved, I explained that wearing high heels have to make a balance of the body, due to which the movement of the hips is upwards. In this way, Saroj today saved the superhit song from the censor board cuts.
Significantly, the son movie was released in 1992, in which Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Aruna Irani and Anupam Kher were in the lead roles. At the same time, the song of this film started to shocking it.
