In the hectic world of everyday life, an elderly husband and wife near Thane Railway Station have won the internet’s hearts with their simple yet profound love story. A video shared by influencer Siddhesh Lokre on Instagram is going viral, which has been viewed more than 8 million times and is spreading positivity and love in the minds of people on the special occasion of the beginning of the new year.

The video introduces Bhimrao, a visually impaired elderly man, and his wife Shobha, who have been married for 43 years. The couple runs a small snack stall near the station, which shows that love and hard work can win anyone’s heart.

Locare asks in the video, “When did you get married?” Bhimrao recalls, “March 12, 1982,” and Shobha then says, “We have been married for 43 years.” The two then share snippets of their daily lives, showing how they support each other in every possible way. Shobha told that Bhimrao had lost his eyesight at the age of two, but that did not stop her from marrying him. She said, “We always imagine ourselves in each other’s shoes,” while Bhimrao said, “We completed each other and decided to live together as life partners.”

Their partnership is built on mutual respect and teamwork. Shobha quipped that Bhimrao cuts vegetables better than the chef, while she credited Shobha for being the heart of her house. When Shobha was asked about her definition of love, she said, “We fight, but we cannot stay apart even for two minutes.” Bhimrao said humorously, “It’s like utensils in the kitchen – they collide but never break.”

The couple had a simple wish: They said they wanted a stall where they could sell their snacks without having to stand all day. His message to the younger generation: “Hard work is everything. You can’t live just for yourself. If you live for others, you truly live. The video ends with a beautiful caption: “Live for others.”
