6 Nigerian citizens were living illegally in Delhi for 4 years, Delhi Police arrested them


New Delhi:
Taking major action against foreign citizens living illegally in Delhi, the police has arrested 6 Nigerian citizens. Delhi Police has conducted a special operation and arrested citizens living illegally in South-East Delhi. Two women are also included among these citizens.

What is the whole matter?

Delhi Police has taken this action on the basis of a secret information. In this action, six Nigerian citizens were caught, who were living illegally in Delhi for four years despite the expiry of their visa period.

Names and details of the arrested accused

The names of the arrested accused are Ejiogu Obiora Franklin Howard, Henry, Sande Patrick, Mary Theresa, Kouadio Yopo and Boadu Nancy.

Case registered on the initiative of 1 foreign citizen

The Nigerian citizens were produced before the FRRO (Foreigners Regional Registration Office), where the FRRO ordered the citizens with serial numbers 1 to 5 to be sent to the detention centre. A case FIR 818/21 u/s 14, 14A Foreigners Act PS Uttam Nagar is already registered against serial number 6 (on a citizen) and a non-bailable warrant (NBW) was issued against him by the trial court.
