The grand and divine Mahakumbh organized by the Yogi government is now attracting the attention of the entire world. On the day of Makar Sankranti, 3.50 crore devotees took a dip of faith in Ganga and Sangam. Meanwhile, as soon as he returned from Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a big meeting regarding the organization of Mahakumbh. Mauni Amavasya is on 29th January and the largest crowd is expected to gather in Mahakumbh on this day. It is estimated that around 8 to 10 crore people can gather at Sangam on Mauni Amavasya.
After spending three days in Gorakhpur, the Chief Minister reviewed the bathing festivals held so far in Mahakumbh. More than 6 crore devotees took Triveni bath on the day of Paush Purnima and Makar Sankranti. In view of the huge crowd of devotees on the day of Mauni Amavasya on January 29, the Chief Minister has given instructions to further improve the arrangements.
CM Yogi gave these instructions to the officials
Yogi told the officials that in collaboration with the Railways, timely operation of special trains for Mahakumbh should be ensured. Also, the number of regular and special trains should be increased. He also expressed the need to improve the mobile network in the fair area, ensure smooth operation of buses, shuttle buses and electric buses and regular cleaning of toilets. CM Yogi gave instructions to make arrangements for 24×7 electricity and drinking water supply in all sectors.
Yogi cabinet meeting will be held in Prayagraj
A cabinet meeting will also be held on Mahakumbh in Prayagraj this month, in which Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath can take a dip in the Sangam along with all his fellow ministers and MLAs. According to sources, a temporary meeting of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council can also be organised, in which there is a plan to invite MLAs of Congress, Samajwadi Party and BSP. Now the question is whether Samajwadi Party leaders will accept this invitation, because party president Akhilesh Yadav has been continuously raising questions on the arrangements of Mahakumbh. On the day of Makar Sankranti, he took a bath in the Ganga in Haridwar instead of Prayagraj, although he had earlier taken a bath in the Mahakumbh.
