Adani Defense and Aerospace (Adani Defense and Aerospace), the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) of Adani Group, on Tuesday at the ‘Aero India’ exhibition, India’s first public-private partnership-based vehicle-mounted counter-drain system at the ‘Aero India’ exhibition Presented. Dr. BK Das, Director General (Electronics and Communication System) of DRDO, introduced this system in the presence of defense experts and industry partners during the ongoing defense exhibition in Bengaluru.
Counter-drain system features
Developed in collaboration with DRDO, this state -of -the -art system is a major step towards strengthening India’s security. The use of drones in the modern war system is growing rapidly, making the need for a strong anti-drain system for safety and more important.
- This vehicle-mounted counter-drain system facilitates the army to give a faster reaction to security and accuracy with any threat from long distance.
- This includes advanced sensor capabilities like automatic drone detection, classification and neutralization.
- This entire anti-drain system is present in a 4×4 vehicle, which makes it quite deadly.
- It has high-energy laser systems for accurate drone neutralization, 7.62 mm guns for air threats, radar, advanced electro-optical sensor, jammer etc.
- It can destroy the drone by tracking a 10 km range.
