Sharmila Tagore is known for her work in Bengali cinema, especially with the great cinema’s great director Satyajit Ray. He has returned to Bengali cinema after 14 years. His new film Puratan is being well liked in theaters. Kareena Kapoor Khan, daughter -in -law of Sharmila Tagore, has now given her a lot of love on her return. In a video shared by the Prathan team, Kareena said, “Hi, I am Kareena Kapoor Khan, and I want to send my best wishes to my mother -in -law’s famous actress Sharmila Tagore. She is finally making a comeback in Bengali cinema after almost 14 years. She was a Bengali lionerer and always will be a torture to see this beautiful film. I am also in the theater.

Soha Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Saba Pataudi also sent wishes to Sharmila Tagore. Soha shared several BTS photos from ancient and wrote, “Celebrating Amma in ancient – her brilliant comeback in Bengali cinema after about two decades. As someone once told me – for us, Sharmila Tagore is not a person, but a feeling.”

The ancient of Suman Ghosh revolves around the story of a mother (Sharmila Tagore) and her daughter (Rituparna Sengupta). The story is about the memories of the past along with losing memory caused by age related diseases. The film stars Indranil Sengupta and Rituparna Sengupta in the lead roles.
