Maddock Films of Dinesh Vijan and Nepean Capital has released the list of its upcoming films for the new year 2025. The makers have announced eight films which are going to be a part of their horror-comedy universe. Among these eight films, Thaama will be released on the occasion of Diwali in 2025, the shooting of which is going on. At the beginning of the new year, Ayushmann Khurrana has left for Delhi for the shooting of the second schedule of his much awaited ‘Bloody Love Story’ Thama. A short schedule of this film of Maddock Films’ blockbuster horror comedy universe was completed in Mumbai last year. Now the team will start shooting some exciting sequences in the capital Delhi from this week, which will continue till the first half of January.

Thaama is a gripping love story, set against a bloody backdrop. Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna are in lead roles in the film, while Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are also playing important roles. The film is being directed by blockbuster Munja fame Aditya Sarpotdar. It is written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew and Arun Phulara and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik.

2025 is going to be very busy for Ayushmann Khurrana. Thaama is set to release on Diwali and along with it he also has an untitled action thriller in his kitty under Dharma and Sikhya Productions. According to sources, Ayushmann will start shooting for two more exciting projects. These include an emotional family drama starring Sooraj Barjatya and a thrilling genre-bending theatrical collaboration between Yash Raj Films and Posham Pa Pictures, directed by Sameer Saxena.
