There is good news for Bollywood fans because famous actress Tabu has become a part of Akshay Kumar’s much awaited horror-comedy film “Bhoot Bangla”. Akshay Kumar himself announced this by sharing a picture with Paresh Rawal in Jaipur on social media. Also, while sharing this news on social media, Tabu gave a hint and wrote in the caption, “We are locked here.” Tabu, who was last seen in Ekta Kapoor’s produced Crew, also commented on the post and said, “You are welcome.”
A fun mix of laughter and fear will be seen in “Bhoot Bangla”, like Akshay Kumar did in his previous films “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” and “Lakshmi”. Tabu who is famous for her strong acting skills like in “Andhadhun” and “Haider” is expected to add something new and special to this film.
The shooting of the film started last week in the culturally rich city of Jaipur in Rajasthan. The historical locations of Rajasthan will help in making the story of the film even more scary and beautiful. The crew has shot at some prominent locations of the city, which gives a real look to the mysterious and funny story of the film.
Tabu’s entry in this project is further increasing the expectations for the film. Fans are excited to know how her on-screen chemistry with Akshay Kumar will be. Industry experts say that ‘Bhoot Bangla’ is going to be one of the best films of this year which is a great combination of great performances and an interesting script.
The film Bhoot Bangla, being directed by Priyadarshan, has been produced under the banner of Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R Kapoor and Akshay Kumar’s production house ‘Cape of Good Films’. The co-producers of the film are Fara Shaikh and Vedant Bali and it is produced under the banner of Balaji Telefilms.
Its story has been written by Akash A Kaushik while the screenplay has been prepared by Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair and Priyadarshan. The dialogues of the film have been written by Rohan Shankar. Bhoot Bangla is set to release in theaters on April 2, 2026.
