New Delhi:
Uthappa makes big allegation on Virat: Former Indian opener Robin Uthappa has said such a big thing about former legend Yuvraj Singh, which no one has said before. Yuvraj’s father has often been seen publicly cursing MS Dhoni due to Yuvraj being dropped from the team. But now Robin Uthappa has blamed Virat Kohli for the premature end of Yuvraj’s career. Yuvraj played a very important role in winning the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 Fifty-Fifty World Cup. Yuvraj was the player of the tournament in both these mega tournaments. Yuvraj was treated in America in the year 2011 itself.
Yuvi returned to the Indian team after being fit and played some good innings before going through a poor form in the 2017 Champions Trophy. After this tournament, Yuvraj was dropped from the team and in the year 2019 he said goodbye to cricket. Now Uthappa has blamed the leadership of that time i.e. Virat Kohli for the premature end of Yuvi’s career. Virat Kohli was the captain and Ravi Shastri was the head coach in the 2017 Champions Trophy.
Robin said in a conversation with a media house, “You take the example of Yuvi Pa. He defeated cancer and tried to return to the international team. He was such a player who, along with other players, made us win two World Cups. His role Both were very important in winning the World Cup”, Robin said, “When you become the captain, you say this about the same player that Yuvi’s lung capacity has become weak. Have lived with them and seen their struggle Have finished.”
Uthappa said, “It is true that you have to maintain a standard, but there are exceptions to the rule. Here is a man who deserves an exception because he has not only won you tournaments, but he has also fought cancer.” Yuvi Pa has defeated the biggest challenge of his life.
Robin said, “When Yuvraj requested a two-point deduction in the fitness test, it was not given to him. He gave the test because he was out of the team and was not being included in the team. Yuvi Pa passed the fitness test. Passed and then his tournament did not go well and whoever was involved in the leadership group at that time, Virat was the captain of the team. and his strong personality “Because of that, things happened their way.”
