New Delhi:
Gadar 2 revived Amisha Patel’s sinking career, but despite this, the actress is not completely satisfied with this period action drama. Amisha recently revealed that the way the film was made, she felt cheated. He said that this film was very different from the story hearing to him in the beginning, in which his character Sakina was given prominence. The actress recently talked about the controversy and even claimed that director Anil Sharma ignored her for a year during the shooting of the film.
Apart from this, Amisha also said that if the makers plan to make another sequel for Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001), then she will sign Gadar 3 only when proper paperwork will be done for this.
This was to be the climax of the film
During a conversation with Manish Paul, he said, “I agreed to Gadar 2 because Sakina kills the villain in the climax. It was also appropriate because the villain (Major General Hamid Iqbal of the Pakistani Army, Hamid Iqbal, the character played by Manish Wadhwa) killed Sakina’s father Ashraf Ali. Was ready and the dialogue was also ready.
Amisha said, “Anil Sharma ji is like my family; I have known her for 27 years. Therefore, there was no contract even while doing the first grade, nor was there a tied script, so that we keep changing it (story) for the betterment of the film. So I worked with him and shot the film.
Director did not contact for a year
Amisha said, “After returning to Mumbai from Palampur, where the first schedule of Gadar 2 was shot, my director did not contact me for a year. During that time, I came to know that he had shot the climax without telling me, two months after we returned.” He also told that the current climax found strange to many people, especially because it did not show who finished the villain.
However, he did not think it right to fight the director or raise the matter even during the promotion of the film. He said, “Forget the past things, however, I hope Anil Sharma’s conscience will understand him. Also, I believe that there are God and Karma, you cut what you sow.”
Condition to work in Gadar 3
When she was asked if she is contacted, would she agree to work in Gadar 3, then Amisha said that she had no complaints with anyone. He said, “However, I want a clear understanding in which everything is on paper and is bound by a contract. I am not against working with anyone in the industry.”
