81-year-old Amitabh Bachchan has become the highest tax-paying celebrity in India in 2024-25 financial year, leaving behind Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. This year his earnings reached 350 crores, due to which the tax was 120 crores. Big B earns from many sources including films, brand endorsement and Kaun Banega Crorepati (which he has been hosting for 2 decades). According to Pinkvilla, last year, the superstar had paid a tax of 71 crores, due to which 69 percent increased in tax this year.

This year too, Amitabh Bachchan paid a tax of Rs 120 crore for earning Rs 350 crore. His final advance tax installment of Rs 52.5 crore was paid on 15 March 2025. Last year, Shah Rukh Khan was the highest tax -paying celebrity by paying tax of Rs 92 crore. Whereas this year Big B left Shah Rukh (84.17 crore) from 30% and reached the top from fourth place in the list of Indian celebrities paying the highest tax. In the list, Talpati Vijay, who has filled 80 crores and Salman Khan, who has filled 75 crore tax.

Significantly, 81 -year -old Amitabh Bachchan is called the powerhouse of Bollywood, who has given blockbuster films like Kalki 2898 AD. He was recently seen in Vetteen with Rajinikanth. Whereas in Kalki 2898 AD, her strong acting with Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone was seen last year and the film also made records in terms of earnings.
