Argentina will leave World Health Organization, Donald Trump’s fans are President here

Following the footsteps of the United States, the office of President Xavier Miley said on Wednesday that Argentina would exit the World Health Organization. The US had announced to exit the United Nations Agency last month. Miley’s decision is based on “deep differences in relation to health management” especially during the Kovid -19 epidemic “. Spokesman Manual Adorney told reporters, Argentina “will not allow any international body to interfere with our sovereignty.”

Self-declared “chaotic-capitalist” Miley is a declared fan of US President Donald Trump. He signed an order to withdraw from the WHO on January 20 within a few hours of taking oath of his Trump.

WHO has been getting the most funds from Washington till now. Trump claimed that WHO “cheated us”, and leaving with the US could lead to lack of funds to WHO.

Since assuming office in December 2023, Miley has vowed to maintain zero budget deficit and end the public spending, changing the habit of governments to spend more years.

It is estimated that these measures have pushed millions of people into poverty, but the country has also recorded its biggest trade surplus in 2024. Miley was the first foreign leader to meet Trump in his Mar-e-Lago Florida Estate after Republican’s victory in the November US election.
