The court has sent Shahzad, accused of attacking actor Saif Ali Khan, on five-day police remand. Police have said that the accused had entered Saif’s house with the intention of stealing. He didn’t know that this was a star’s house. According to the police, the accused himself told that he did not know whose house he had entered. His motive was to steal. Mumbai Police scanned the footage of 150-200 CCTV cameras to catch the accused. Soon the police will recreate the crime scene regarding Saif’s attacker.
The accused Mohammad Shahzad, who attacked the actor, was presented by the police in Bandra Court on Sunday. The court sent him to police remand for five days. However, the police had asked for 14 days’ remand. Before presenting him in the court, the police got the accused medically examined at Bhabha Hospital located in Bandra area. Meanwhile, the lawyer of the accused has claimed that the talk of infiltration from Bangladesh is baseless. The victim is a celebrity, that is why this case is being given so much importance.
In the case, the government lawyer argued that the accused knew in which area the celebrities live and there is security there. Despite this he reached inside. This means he had planned. Who helped him, who was supporting him, this has to be investigated. Blood sample of the accused has to be taken, there must have been blood on the body of the accused at the time of the attack, we have to seize that cloth so that it can be matched.
Let us tell you, the police had formed more than 35 teams to catch the accused. On January 16, Saif was attacked multiple times with a knife in his Bandra apartment. Saif is admitted in Lilavati Hospital after getting injured in this attack. He also had surgery. According to doctors, his condition is stable and he is out of danger.
