Chopra said on his YouTube channel Akashvani, “The biggest question is whether Rohit’s decision of not playing in Sydney was right? I think this decision was right because the team was not benefiting. The reason was that Rohit was searching for form and it had been a long time, three series including the last two. The former opener said, “Rohit has also done something in his career that makes me think about myself. This happened in the last Test, when Rohit decided to start the innings at MCG, but in this role too, Rohit failed to score runs. And when this happens, then you just say leave it friend, enough is enough. Now I will take whatever decision is right for the team.”
Chopra said, “Rohit has done such a thing many times. When it was Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s 200th match, then Rohit said that Mahi, you should take the captaincy.
