The Bhajanlal government of Rajasthan has started preparing to travel to the historic education place of London, extending the plan to give the opportunity to the Dalit society to the Dalit society to give an opportunity to visit the Panchtirtha. On Monday, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma started the ‘Ambedkar Tirtha Yojana’ from Rajasthan International Center on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti. During this period, passengers were dispatched to four pilgrimage centers Mhow, Nagpur, Delhi and Mumbai. In the program, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Avinash Gehlot said that Dr. Ambedkar’s visit to London’s education place is also being included in this scheme. The proposal has been sent to the Finance Department and approval is expected soon.
Significantly, the house where Dr. Ambedkar lived in London, has already been acquired by the Government of India and declared Panchtirtha. The government believes that this journey will be an inspiration for constitution, struggle and education, especially for Dalit youth.
The state government has planned to send a budget of Rs 1 crore in the first phase and has planned to send 1000 selected people on Ambedkar pilgrimage in a year. This scheme is part of that election promise of BJP, in which it was said that if the party comes to power, the Dalit society will be given a visit to Dr. Ambedkar’s Panchatirtha.
