On Tuesday evening, 12 people, including three children, were killed in a military complex in North Western Pakistan due to explosion in two vehicles filled with explosives. Also, dozens of people have been injured. Giving information about the incident, the officials said that a terrorist group has taken responsibility for the attack. This attack took place when people were opening their fast in the holy month of Ramadan. During this, there were big explosions and firing.

Attack in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The attack took place in Bannu district of Pakistan’s disturbed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. A security officer told the AFP late at night on the condition of anonymity that the death toll has increased to twelve. Three children and two women are among those who died in this attack. 32 people have been injured in the attack.
An intelligence officer had earlier told the AFP that 12 terrorists attempted to attack the campus after suicide bombings and six attackers were killed.
Pits made from blasts, 8 houses also damaged
A police officer said, “The explosions created two four -foot pits and due to their intensity, at least eight houses in the area were damaged.”
The attack was taken by a faction named Hafiz Gul Bahadur, who actively supported the Afghan Taliban in the war against the US -led NATO alliance since 2001.
The group said in a statement, “Our fighters got access to an important goal and they controlled.”
Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari condemned the attack in a statement and described it as “heinous”.
