A major accident took place in Samastipur, Bihar on Wednesday. There has been an explosion in an aluminum factory located in Vaini, Pusa. There is news of death of 2 to 3 people in the accident. Many people are also said to be injured. However, this has not been officially confirmed yet. It is being told that this explosion occurred due to boiler explosion in the factory.
Police reached the spot on information about the blast. The injured are being taken to the hospital. As a precautionary measure, people are being evacuated from the surrounding areas. Information about how many people were there in the factory at the time of the blast is not yet available.
A similar blast took place in an ordnance factory in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. In this blast that took place on October 3, 2 employees were killed, while 10 employees were burnt. According to the report, bomb filling work was going on in the F-6 section of the factory. During this time there was a sudden explosion in the hydraulic system. How the blast happened and whose negligence was responsible is under investigation.
Earlier, there was a bomb blast in Bhagalpur, Bihar on 1 October 2024. There was an explosion in a street of Habibpur police station area. A 7 year old child got injured in this.
