The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) issued a ’cause’ notice to Haryana Minister Anil Vij on Monday for repeatedly targeting Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini and state unit chief Mohan Lal Badoli. State BJP chief Badoli said in the notice issued to Vij, “You are informed that you have recently given public statements against the post of party (state) president (Badoli) and Chief Minister.” These are serious allegations and are against the party’s policy and internal discipline. ”
Badoli said that notice to Vij is being issued as per the instructions of the BJP’s National President. It said, “We expect you to give written explanation on this subject within three days.”
In the show cause notice, Vij was told that his “Kadam is not only against the party’s ideology, but it came at a time when the party was campaigning in the neighboring state (Delhi).”
The notice said, “At the time of elections, while holding the post of a respected minister, you have made these statements that it will tarnish the party’s image. This is completely unacceptable. ”
Vis (71), a seven -time MLA from Ambala Cantonment, was continuously targeting Saini. Vij, while taking a sarcasm at Saini, said, “Since taking over, he (Saini) has been riding on ‘Udan Khatola’ (helicopter). If he comes down, he will see the pain of the people. ”
On January 30, Vij expressed strong displeasure over the officials not being followed by the officials and said that he is ready to go on a fast unto death like farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallawal for the people of his Ambala Cantt constituency.
Earlier, Vij had said that after being made an accused in the rape case, Badoli should resign from the post of Haryana Pradesh BJP chief to maintain the “purity” of the party until he is found innocent in the investigation of Himachal Pradesh Police. .
Last week, a case of forced recovery and criminal intimidation was registered against six people, including a woman who accused Badoli and singer Rocky Mittal of rape.
