Here the Pakistan Army officials will tell Parliament what the situation is on the land.
According to the report of Pakistan’s Jio News, a statement released by the PM office states that on the advice of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the National Assembly speaker has called a special session in a closed room at 1:30 pm on Tuesday. The meeting will be held in the National Assembly Hall.
The statement said that the leadership of the Army here will give comprehensive information to the Parliamentary Committee on the current security situation. The session will participate in Pakistan’s National Assembly and the parliamentary leaders of political parties in the Senate with their nominated representatives. Apart from this, the concerned cabinet members will also be present.
Pakistan stabbed due to attacks one after the other
These are the two provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, Pakistan which are under violence. Both provinces are followed by the neighboring country of Afghanistan. According to the report of Geo News, the report of the Global Terrorism Index 2025 shows that in 2024 more than 96% of terrorist attacks and deaths in Pakistan have occurred in these two provinces.
The rebels associated with the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) blown a railway track on Tuesday and attacked the Jafar Express and hijacked it. There were more than 440 passengers on it. At least 26 people, including soldiers, died in the attack. After this, five people, including three Pakistani soldiers, were killed in a suicide attack on the convoy of paramilitary forces on Sunday, March 16.
