Actor Premnath started his film with the film Ajit, which came to 1948. He was in important roles in Raj Kapoor’s first directed film Aag (1948) and Barsaat (1949). In 1951, Premnath was seen with Madhubala in Badal, it proved to be a big hit at the box office. In 1952, he worked with Dilip Kumar in a brilliant technicler film on. Which was the highest -grossing film of the time, although when he got to get films as an actor, he started appearing in the role of Villain. He appeared as a villain in big blockbuster films in the 1970s. Third Manzil (1966), Johnny Mera Naam (1970), Tere Mere Sapne (1971), Shor (1972), Bobby (1973), Roti Cloth and House (1974), Dharmama (1975), Kalicharan (1976), Kriddhi (1981) and Desh lover (1982) appeared in important roles.
Malhotra i.e. Prem Nath was born on 21 November 1926 in Peshawar. He did more than 100 films in his career. Premnath’s father had admitted him to the army, but the passion of acting was so much that he came to Mumbai to make a career in acting. He considered Prithviraj Kapoor as his guru. Premnath has given many hit films in his career. Krishna Raj Kapoor, a sister of Premnath, is married to Raj Kapoor.
Madhubala to affair
During his acting career, Prem Nath worked with Madhubala in films like ‘Badal’ and ‘Aram’. During the shooting of these films, the closeness between the two started increasing. According to reports, both of them also thought about getting married. Prem Nath wanted Madhubala to adopt Hinduism and marry him, but the actress did not agree to her proposal. Meanwhile, the closeness of Madhubala and Dilip Kumar increased. Dilip Kumar and Premnath had a deep friendship, when they came to know that Madhubala was extending their proximity to Dilip Kumar, they kept away from Madhubala.

Let me tell you that in the 70s, the fame of Prem Nath had increased considerably and he was allegedly earning more than Raj Kapoor. Reports said that Prem Nath started charging Rs 1.25 lakh for a film, while Raj Kapoor was being given Rs 75,000. Dev Anand used to get Rs 35,000 and Dilip Kumar used to get Rs 50,000.
Marriage and retirement of Bina Rai
After breaking the relationship with Madhubala, Premnath married Bina Rai, the very beautiful actress of that era. Bina was also seen as an actress in many successful films. However, after marriage, Bina stopped working in films. Here Premnath also got reduced by getting films, then he retired. On November 3, 1992, Premnath passed away due to a heart attack at the age of 65.
