Two people were killed and two others were seriously injured when a car collided with a car tree in Narayana, West Delhi early Sunday. Police gave this information. He said that the accident happened late at around 2:45 pm, due to which the reason was not known immediately. Police said that Maruti Siaz, who was involved in the accident, was badly damaged due to car collision. An official said that the police reached the spot on receiving information about the accident.
He said, ‘All four people in the vehicle were injured and were immediately taken to the nearby hospital. Two of them died, while the other two continue to be treated. The official said that the deceased have been identified as Lakshit Negi (22) and Yash Verma (21), residents of Hari Nagar, Delhi. The injured have been identified as Yash Gupta (22) and Himanshu (23).
Police suspect that the car driver lost control of the vehicle, due to which the accident occurred. However, the exact reason will be known only after the investigation is completed. The official said, ‘We are investigating CCTV footage to find the developments. He said, ‘They were not drunk and the vehicle was driving Yash Verma.’ Police said that the victims were friends and were returning to their homes in Hari Nagar.
Meanwhile, according to the police, four people were marginally injured when a truck was hit by a truck by breaking a traffic signal on the Mehrauli-Badarpur road in South Delhi. Officials said that Ambedkar police station received information about the incident from a hospital. He said that the car driver Sumit (24) told the police that he was traveling with three of his friends at the time of the accident.
A police official said, “Sumit broke Khanpur traffic signal while driving his vehicle and hit a truck from behind.” People in the car suffered minor injuries and were taken to AIIMS Trauma Center for treatment.
