In such a situation, former Team India legend Sunil Gavaskar has given a statement regarding this decision during a conversation on Star Sports and has told what is the difference between Pant and Sanju due to which this decision might have been taken. Gavaskar said. “Pant can probably change the game a little more than Samson and that’s why Samson didn’t get the chance, but Samson shouldn’t be disappointed because all Indian cricket fans will sympathize with him for what he has achieved.”

Left-handed all-rounders Akshar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja are also part of the team. Along with this, Washington Sundar is also included in the team as another all-rounder. Whereas KL Rahul has been successful in making his place as the second wicketkeeper in the team.

Talking about the bowling department, apart from Akshar, Sundar and Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav will handle the spin bowling. Talking about pace attack, star pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who bowled brilliantly in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, will do it. Whereas Mohammed Shami has returned to international cricket after a long time.
