In a historic initiative dedicated to the spiritual and cultural glory of Mahakumbh 2025, Uttar Pradesh’s Yogi Adityanath on Saturday launched Indian Bank’s Mahakumbh Mela special ATM debit card. This program was organized in Mahakumbh city Prayagraj.
Chief General Manager of Indian Bank, Lucknow Sudhir Kumar Gupta, Area General Manager, Prayagraj Naveen Kumar Srivastava, Zonal Manager Lucknow Pranesh Kumar, Zonal Manager, Prayagraj PN Upadhyay and many senior officers were present in the program.
This special ATM debit card not only symbolizes the cultural heritage of the state, but also connects the glorious identity of Uttar Pradesh with economic empowerment. About two lakh such special debit cards will be distributed to Indian Bank customers across the state during the 45 days of Maha Kumbh Mela.
This card has the symbolic logo of Mahakumbh and the logo of Indian Bank. It will be provided to the customers at zero annual fee. Speaking on the occasion, Sudhir Kumar Gupta said, “This initiative is in line with the visionary vision of the government to encourage digital transactions and promote financial literacy in Uttar Pradesh.”
