New Delhi:
Comedian Kunal Kamra’s troubles seem to grow and grow up regarding the remarks made without naming Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. After three summons and FIR, now the online platform book My Show has removed all the content related to them. The Book My Show has removed his name from the Artists List along with the removal of the content of the comedian from its official site. Shiv Sena leader Rahul Kanal wrote a letter to the online platform book My Show, which booked tickets for the programs on April 3, requesting Kunal Kamra not to provide a ticketing platform for his ahead of him.
Rahul Kanal wrote in the letter, “I am writing this letter to the book My Show as a responsible citizen, so that I can bring your attention to the matter of important public interest related to the operation. It has come to my cognizance that the book My Show has given the facility to Kunal Kamra for his show. Often targeting and defaming them.
He further wrote, “Kamra has overcome moral and legal limitations several times with scripted malicious statements. Such comments not only hurt the feelings of the general public, but also increase the possibility of disrupting social harmony. By providing a platform for their performance, the book Mai Show is inadvertently giving a chance to a person, which is threatened by a public system, where he is a public system in the city, where the public system is in danger, where he is giving a chance to a person, where he Is.”
Kanal further wrote, “Keeping these things in mind, I honestly request that Big Tree Entertainment and Book My Show should avoid booking or promoting Kunal Kamra’s show on their stage. Continuing ticket sales for his programs can be considered as support for his divisive rhetoric, which can have a serious impact on public sentiment and system in the city.”
At the end of the post, he wrote, “I am confident that as a responsible organization committed to the good of his audience and society, the book Mai Show will seriously consider the matter and will act in the broader interest of maintaining peace and harmony.”
