The temperature is expected to be minus 6 degrees and that is why this time the swearing-in ceremony is going to be indoor. Donald Trump will be sworn in in the US Parliament. When will the swearing in take place?
The swearing-in ceremony will start at 10 am according to American time. According to Indian time it is 8:30 pm. Trump will take oath at 12 noon and it will happen at 10:30 pm Indian time.
Oath of only 35 words
The oath taken by the President of America consists of only 35 words. Actually, this oath is a part of the US Constitution and it is called the basic spirit of the Constitution.

Donald Trump will use two Bibles during his presidential oath of office. One of these was given to him as a gift by his mother, while the other would be a Lincoln Bible.
Where will Trump take oath?
The swearing-in ceremony is going to be held indoor after almost 40 years. The ceremony is going to be held in the Capitol Rotunda in Capitol Hills. Earlier in 1985, President Ronald Reagan took the oath of office for his second term indoors due to severe cold. This is going to happen in America after almost four decades. America’s Chief Justice John Roberts will administer the oath to Trump.
Who is being involved?
President Joe Biden and Jill Biden, former President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, former President George Bush and Laura Bush will also attend Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony. Also, former President Barack Obama will attend the ceremony, but Michelle Obama will not come. According to some reports, Vice President Kamala Harris will also not attend it.
These foreign guests will also come
Contrary to tradition, many foreign guests are also expected to attend Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony this time. These include Argentina’s President Javier Meili, Italy’s Prime Minister Georgia Meloni, Ecuador’s President Daniel Noboa, El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele, former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and former Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawieck.
Chinese President will not come
Chinese President Xi Jinping was invited to the ceremony. However, he will be represented by Vice President Han Zheng. Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be represented at the function by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.
