The process of making Aadhaar card and updating at the head post office of Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh has become quite complex and time taking time. People have to be in line from 5 o’clock in the morning, but they have to wait for hours to get tokens. Tokens are usually given at around 10 am after the opening of the post office and the arrival of employees.
People are facing huge difficulties to get Aadhaar card and update Aadhaar card at the head post office of Firozabad. In the scorching sun and humid weather, young children, women and the elderly have to stand in line for hours. Due to only two computer systems in the post office, the work is slow and people have to wait for several hours. Many times, even after waiting a day, their number does not come and they have to be in line again the next day.
Local citizens have demanded from the district administration and postal department that the number of Aadhaar card centers should be increased and the system of computer system and staff should be improved. With this, the common people will get rid of the problems faced by making Aadhaar cards and updating.
The post master of the Head Post Office said that he has changed the system to reduce the problem of long queues for making Aadhaar cards. Now people are being given tokens and 100 people can get Aadhaar card per day according to their token date.
