
Hearing of Disha Salian case in Bombay High Court on 2 April 2025

The Bombay High Court has fixed the date of hearing on a writ petition filed by the late Disha Salian’s father Satish Salian. This hearing will now be held on 2 April 2025. This petition was filed by Satish Salian through his lawyer, one per earlier Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede. Sameer Wankhede’s lawyer Faiz Merchant said that his clients are preparing to present a detailed affidavit before the High Court in this case. This affidavit will answer all the questions and allegations related to Wankhede.
According to sources, Wankhede can also present some important evidence collected during his investigation in the court. These evidences may include information related to actress Riya Chakraborty and Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray. It is being said that the affidavit of Wankhede has already been ready. It was prepared when the copy of the petition was leaked in the media. Sources claim that this affidavit may have some shocking revelations, which can put many people in legal difficulty. If these claims are proved correct, then this matter can take a new and big turn.
Disha Salian died in June 2020, after which the matter has been in discussion. Satish Salian believes that many questions behind his daughter’s death are unresolved.
