External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar addressed the Rajya Sabha on Thursday during the budget session regarding the overseas Indians sent by the US. He said during this time that this action is not new. Even before today, those who were found living in any other country illegally, their country used to be unhappy. I want to make it clear from you that mobility and migration plays a very important role in advancing a country. As a country, we promote legal form (people go to one country from one country), while we never promote Eigal Mobility. All our citizens who have gone to any other country illegally, they catch them according to their law and send them back. This process is not new.

This process has been going on since 2009
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said in the House that the process of sending the Indian who was living illegally in any country has been going on since 2009. He said that since 2012, it has been the practice of sending people back from government aircraft.
‘Citizens have been deployed under rules’
Giving a statement in the Rajya Sabha, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that MPs should know that this is not a matter, this has already been happening. In the year 2009, 747 illegal migrants were sent. Similarly, hundreds of people were sent back year after year. In every country, nationality is investigated. The rule of sending from military plane has been applicable since 2012. There is no discrimination about this. Illegal migrants were trapped, they had to bring them back. During Jaishankar’s statement, there are constant uproar in the House on behalf of opposition members.

During his address in the Rajya Sabha, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that the rule of Departation is quite old. He also mentioned the Treaty of the United Nations on Deputy.
