Deva box office collection: Malayalam director Roshan Andrews’ first Hindi film Deva was released on 31 January and since then it has been struggling to bring the audience to theaters. The film stars Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde in Lad role. According to Caiknilk, the film’s collection saw a decline but was successful in earning around Rs 21.36 crore in India. Regarding Deva’s box office collection, the website has said that Deva was successful in making a net collection of about Rs 2.21 crore in India and its total collection is Rs 21.36 crore.
Deva collected a collection of Rs 5.5 crore on his first day. The film saw a bounce on the weekend and earned Rs 6.4 crore and Rs 7.25 crore on Saturday and Sunday. The film’s total occupancy was 7.53% on Monday. Production House Roy Kapoor Films shared on social media that the film earned Rs 8.30 crore in India and Rs 3.45 crore abroad. The film earned Rs 11.75 crore on its third day and earned Rs 34.01 crore in total.
During the recent conversation, Shahid talked about comparison between Deva and his hit film Kabir Singh. He said, “This is an aggressive character but Deva is very Deva. There is no Kabir Singh in it. Deva is not like any other character. Even Kabir Singh asked people whether he was like Tomi Singh of Udta Punjab. ”
