Drunken auto driver called and claimed to be the address of Pahalgam terrorist attack

New Delhi:
An unknown person called and claimed that he knew that there was a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, after which investigation was started by various security agencies. Later it was discovered that this phone was made by an auto driver by an auto driver and Delhi Police later came to know that the person was drunk and was troubled by the challan being cut.

An officer told ‘PTI language’ on the condition of anonymity, ‘He was drunk, but various security agencies questioned him. Later we came to know that he was angry with the challan issued by his vehicle.

He said, ‘Preventive action has also been taken against him. But with his interrogation, it became clear that he made this false call because his challan was pending and he was angry with it.

So far no FIR has been lodged against that person. Security has been tightened in the national capital after the terrorist attack on Tuesday in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Delhi Police has increased security in the entire city (especially around tourist places and border posts).
