Fateh piles up at the box office

Sonu Sood and Jacqueline Fernandes’ film Fateh took a slow opening last Friday, January 10. After this, the film saw a huge decline in box office collection on its first Monday i.e. the fourth day. According to industry tracker Sacknilk, the first film made under the direction of Sonu Sood could earn only Rs 85 lakh on the fourth day of its release. Earlier, the action drama had collected around Rs 6.75 crore in its first three days. Fateh received mixed reactions from the audience. Talking about earnings, the film earned Rs 2.4 crore on the first day, Rs 2.1 crore on the second day and Rs 2.25 crore on the third day.
According to initial reports, it earned only Rs 85 lakh on the fourth day. Till now, the total collection of Fateh has reached Rs 7.6 crore. Its direct competition is with Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s Game Changer, which hit the theaters on the same day.
Game Changer has earned Rs 96.11 crore at the domestic box office. According to reports, Fateh was made with a budget of Rs 40 crore. The film did not benefit from the ticket prices being reduced to Rs 99 on the opening day and the Buy One Get One Free (BOGO) offer on Sunday. Announcing this on Instagram, Zee Studios shared a poster and wrote, “The time has come for a power-packed offer for you! Book one ticket and get the second one free.”
