
New Year’s Eve celebration in Queens, New York, marked by gunfire. About 11 people were injured in a mass shooting outside a nightclub on Wednesday night. The firing reportedly took place near Amazura Night Club in Jamaica at around 11.20 pm. The New York Post says that according to the New York Police Department (NYPD), the condition of none of the victims is serious. Everyone’s condition is stable. All have been admitted to Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen Children’s Medical Center for treatment.

Shooting outside nightclub in New York
There has been firing outside the Amazura Club. This club regularly hosts DJs and live performances. The nightclub hosted a private party in honor of a known gang member. This gang member reportedly died last year. According to AMNY News report, when this incident happened, about 80 people were standing outside the nightclub waiting to go inside.

About 10 people injured in firing
However, NYPD has not yet given any official information on this incident. But in social media posts, a huge crowd of police vehicles and ambulances can be seen outside the club. Authorities have not yet released the names of those injured in the shooting outside a nightclub in Queens, New York. However, about four of those killed have been identified by their family members and others.

This incident of mass shooting in a nightclub is similar to the deadly attack on New Year in New Orleans. About 15 people were killed and dozens were injured in that incident. In fact, a former American Army soldier had crushed the crowd with his pickup truck. It is being claimed that the suspect Shamsud Deen Jabbar was killed by the police. US law enforcement officials identified Jabbar and confirmed that he was carrying an ISIS flag when he committed the ‘terrorist act’.
Another incident took place in Las Vegas, America on Wednesday morning. One person was killed and seven were injured when a Cybertruck caught fire just outside the glass entrance of the Trump International Hotel.
