Adaani Group Chairman Gautam Adani and senior officials visited Tarapur Maharashtra Site (TMS) to get information about nuclear power technology and its operational aspects. Tarapur Atomic Energy Station (TAPS) gave this information. TMS has two nuclear power stations. The delegation consisted of senior officials of Adani Energy, Adani Green and Group’s Energy Strategy Division.

According to a statement issued by Tarapur Nuclear Energy Station (TAPS), officials visiting the tour on Sunday were informed about India’s nuclear power program. Senior officials and site management of the Atomic Energy Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) headquarters led the force to give information.

The statement said, “Adani Group officials were given a visit to TAPS 3 and 4 plant areas, where they were given a detailed description of the plant operation. Experts gave information about major technology aspects, security measures and the role of nuclear power in India’s energy change.
