
Gautam gambhir will train young cricketers in Raipur: Gautam Gambhir, the head coach of the Indian cricket team, will train young cricketers in Chhattisgarh for the first time. A special cricket masterclass and training camp will be held in April and May, where ambitious players will get high level coaching under the guidance of Gambhir. The camp is being organized in collaboration with Ekana and Aranya and will also include experienced coaches like Mayank Siddana (former selector of Delhi Ranji team), Suhail Sharma (Assistant Coach of India Capitals) and Atul Ranade (former fielding coach of India ‘C’). This will be the first time that the Indian cricket team’s head coach will organize training camps in Chhattisgarh. The state has recently seen a boom in enthusiasm towards cricket, especially after the success of the International Masters League held in Raipur.
India Masters defeated West Indies Masters by six wickets to win the International Masters League (IML) 2025 title. In this title match, the magic of the golden age of cricket became alive again. India Masters, led by veteran Sachin Tendulkar, performed brilliant all -round and defeated Brian Lara’s West Indies Masters and won the prestigious title at SVNS International Stadium.
With the involvement of Gautam Gambhir, now young cricketers of this region have a golden opportunity to learn from one of the great players of the game. Players wishing to attend the camp will have to go through a trial at Emerging Cricket Ground in Avanti Vihar, Raipur on 22 and 23 March. After this, the selected players will participate in the special training camp in April and May. The fee of training camp is Rs 12,500 for players above 16 years and Rs 9,000 for players below 16 years. Participants will get a direct counseling session with a cricket kit (T-shirt and cap) signed by Gautam Gambhir, nutritious breakfast and hydration, future scholarship opportunities, transport service and Gautam Gambhir.
