Greg Chappell Compares Harry Brook To Sachin Tendulkar: Greg Chappell, former head coach of the Indian cricket team and captain of the Australian cricket team, has compared the current English star Harry Brook with Sachin Tendulkar, famous in the sports world as the ‘God of Cricket’. The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Chappell as saying, ‘Harry Brook is a sensational cricketer. I compare his performance and approach with the great Sachin Tendulkar.
According to Chappell, Brook’s initial figures show that he has left even the great Indian batsman (Sachin Tendulkar) behind. The former captain said, ‘At the age of just 25, Brook has quickly become one of the most talked about cricketers in the world. His batting style is very simple and effective.
The former Australian captain has also compared the first 15 Test matches of Brook and Sachin. Chappell said that a surprising thing emerges when we compare his first 15 matches. Tendulkar had scored 837 runs in his first 15 Test matches at an average of less than 40. Which included two centuries. Whereas Brook has scored 1378 runs in his first 15 matches at an average of 60. Which includes five centuries.

Talking about Brook’s Test cricket career, he played his first match for England against South Africa at the Oval on 8 September 2022. Since then he has played 24 test matches for his team. During this period, 2281 runs have been scored from his bat in 40 innings at an average of 58.48. Brook has eight centuries and 10 half-centuries in his name in Test cricket.
Test cricket career of Sachin Tendulkar
Talking about the Test cricket career of the Indian legend, he participated in a total of 200 Test matches between 1989 and 2013. Meanwhile, he managed to score 15921 runs in 329 innings at an average of 53.78. Sachin has 51 centuries and 68 half-centuries in his name in Test cricket.
