Haryana Land Scam Case: ED sent summons to Robert Vadra and summoned, know what is this scam related to land deal

In the case related to Haryana Land Scam, the ED has sent summons to Robert Vadra for the second time today for Robert Vadra Ed Summoned. The last time on 8 April, he was summoned for questioning. However, he did not reach the ED office. However, at 11 am today, he will reach ED Head Quarters to attend the ED inquiry. This case is of the year 2018. This case was registered at Kherki Daula police station in Gurgaon on 1 September 2018 on the complaint of Surendra Sharma, who lives in Rupu.

What is the charge on Robert Vadra?

In the Haryana Land Scam case, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi’s husband and businessman Robert Vadra’s company Skylight Hospitality is alleged to have cheated him along with others. Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda has also been accused in the case. In this case, a case was registered under sections 420, 120, 467, 468 and 471 of the IPC. Later new allegations were added under Section 423 of the IPC.

What is a dispute related to land deal?

The complainant had alleged that Robert Vadra’s company had purchased 3.5 acres of land in Shikohpur in Gurgaon in February 2008 from Omkareshwar Properties for Rs 7.5 crore. After getting a commercial license, the company sold the same property to real estate company DLF for Rs 58 crore. It was also alleged that the then Hooda government of Haryana had in turn allotted DLF 350 acres of land in Wazirabad, Gurgaon. The Enforcement Directorate is investigating financial irregularities on Vadra’s company in this case. That is why Robert Vadra has been summoned for questioning once again.
