In Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, three people of the same family died after coming in contact with a high tension line. This accident happened in Gorakhpur, where a man along with his daughter and niece died due to burning. After receiving information about the accident, police reached the spot.
According to the police, the accident happened when Hiraman Rajbhar, a resident of Bishanpur, was returning home from Sonbarsa market in Gorakhpur on a bike with his two-year-old daughter and three-year-old niece.
high tension line wire suddenly fell
According to the information, Sardarnagar had just turned towards Canal Road to go towards Bishanpur when suddenly the high tension line broke and fell on him.
Police said that he started burning after the wire of 11 thousand volt high tension line broke and fell. After receiving the information, police reached the spot. However, by then it was too late and all three had burnt to death.
Transmission line tower collapses, five workers injured
On the other hand, five workers were injured after a 400-kilowatt transmission line tower collapsed in Sahson under Tharvai police station area of Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Ganganagar) Kuldeep Gunawat clarified that this incident took place in a rural area away from the city and has no connection with the Mahakumbh work.
Assistant Police Commissioner (Tharwai) Chandrapal Singh said that on Saturday, work on the 400 kilowatt transmission line connecting Bengal to Delhi was going on in the Sahashon area under Tharwai police station. In this sequence, while pulling the wire, a tower fell out of control due to which five workers were injured.
He told that the police station reached the spot and took the five injured workers to the hospital in an ambulance, where three workers were discharged after first aid, while two injured have been referred to SRN.
ACP Singh said that peace is maintained at the spot and the incident is being investigated.
