How to benefit Indian exporters from America-China Tariff War? Understand Vinod Sharma


It has been decided to organize India Soft Exhibition on 19-20 March in Delhi amidst the trump administration’s tariff war against important trading partners. About 200 country Importers have been invited in this. CII National Committee on Electronics & IT President and Deki Electronics Company MD Vinod Sharma told NewsDeskReport that the tariff war that has started between the US and China, has increased the possibility of opening a new export market for Indian exporters.

How to benefit

Vinod Sharma said that the Electronic and Software Council has invited about 200 countries of the country to participate in “India Soft Exhibition” in Bharat Mandapam on 19-20 March. Its direct reference is tariff war. The whole world is looking for an alternative to China. I think there is a big opportunity for India as an alternative .. to project in international economy as an alternative market. The US export of electronics products is around 7% on the US exports.

The chairman of CII National Committee on Electronics & IT said that if the Trump administration increases duty on electronic products, it will affect our electronic products exports. We have an option that we impose duty on American products in electronics and IT sectors, decrease it and project India in the international economy as an alternative to China.

On the other hand, on the tariff policy of US President Donald Trump, India said on Friday that it is considering strengthening business relations with America by reducing tariffs and non-tariff barriers through bilateral trade agreement. In its first response, New Delhi indicated that it expects a cordial solution to the issue. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to America last month, the two sides announced a plan to negotiate mutually beneficial, multi-regional bilateral trade agreement (BTA).
