At the inauguration of the book festival in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan spoke openly about his love for books (Pawan Kalyan Book Love). He said that he will not hesitate in giving crores of rupees to someone but if it comes to a book, he will definitely think once about giving it. For them, giving a book is like giving property. He said that it is very difficult to tell how much pain Karna would suffer if he had to give the Kavach Kundal. Similarly, if he has to give his book to someone, he will be very upset.

Pawan Kalyan told that he could not study in class 12th. The education he wants is not in books but in the classroom. That is why he stopped himself. He said that even Rabindranath Tagore did not go to school. He studied at home only. He was also inspired by Tagore and like him, he kept taking knowledge through trees and plants.

Pawan Kalyan’s love for books is not hidden from anyone. Some time back, when he had come to Delhi to discuss development issues, he used to visit Connaught Place and Khan Market in his free time. During this time, he bought books at both the places. Pawan Kalyan likes to read all the books, from Telugu literature to international mythology.
