During the match, Shubman Gill played a good innings of 87 runs in 96 balls. Apart from him, Shreyas Iyer (59) and Akshar Patel (52) managed to score half -centuries. Gill was chosen as ‘Player of the Match’ for the best innings.
Rohit Sharma did not bat
Rohit Sharma, who is struggling with the bat in Test cricket, was expected to perform well in ODIs for cricket lovers today. But he could not show anything special while starting the innings.
