A third year student committed suicide at IIT Patna Campus of IIT police station area of ​​Bihta in Patna district. The deceased student was from Hyderabad. After getting information about the incident here, the local police team and the IIT administration themselves also reached the spot, Prof. TN Singh, Director of IIT Patna.

According to the information received, a student of Computer and Mathematics Department of Third Year, living in IIT Patna Campus on Tuesday, first cut his hand and then went from a building in the IIT campus himself. Where the local students and people present present immediately admitted him to a private hospital in Bihta for treatment where he died during treatment.

However, the IIT administration is not ready to say anything about the incident, the reason behind the incident is not yet clear. At present, the police is investigating the case by reaching the spot.

Regarding the incident here, a student of IIT Patna 3rd Year told that he was a very good boy and was cheerful and very good to read. Today, when we went to bring the newspaper in the morning, we saw that IIT had jumped from the roof of the hostel and Was soaked in blood. Where he was taken to the hospital in the campus in an injured state, but there was no doctor in the hospital at that time. Negligence is of IIT administration. However, the student said that this incident has happened due to academic pressure, this time there has been a lot of change in the semester and syllabus, which he was upset about.

Regarding the incident here, IIT police station in -charge Vivek Kumar said that IIT Bihta got information from Patna Campus that a student had committed suicide after which the police team reached the hospital but had died. At present, the police is investigating the case, the reason behind the incident is not yet clear.
