In Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh, upset with the police not taking action in the case of assault by taking hostage in the house by using e-rickshaw and mobile phone and saving the accused of CO City and Sadar MLA, a young man tried to commit suicide by pouring inflammable substance in the SSP office premises. Did. During this the young man got seriously burnt. The police admitted the youth to the district hospital, but as his condition became critical, he was referred to the Higher Center Bareilly.

Gulfam Ahmed, a youth resident of Mohalla Nai Sarai of Sadar Kotwali, tried to commit suicide by pouring inflammable substance in the SSP office premises due to which he got seriously burnt. CO City Sanjeev Kumar and CO Ujhani Shakti Singh took Gulfam Ahmed to the district hospital. When his condition became serious there, he was referred to Bareilly Higher Centre. His condition is quite critical.

Dr. Riyaz Ahmed of the District Hospital said that Gulfam has suffered more than 50 percent burns due to which his condition is critical.

Gulfam Ahmed said, “On December 30, 2024, his e-rickshaw, mobile phone and Rs 2200 were snatched away.” Accused Nihal, Munajir, Shakir etc. and the ward member of the locality snatched his e-rickshaw and mobile phone and held him hostage in the house. Complained about this in the police station but the police did not help. The police station people put pressure on me. Sadar MLA Mahesh Chandra Gupta and CO City Sanjeev Kumar also supported the accused. CO City Sanjeev Kumar applied pressure and said that he would send me to jail with two kilos of Doda powder. The police made me helpless and helpless. Today I was forced to do this in the SSP office.

SSP Brajesh Singh told that a young man named Gulfam, resident of Nai Sarai, is having a dispute with his in-laws for the last 2 years. Many cases in this regard have been registered in Sadar Kotwali police station Civil Line and Muzaria police station. On December 30, Gulfam had forcefully entered his in-laws’ house. On this, the brother-in-law’s wife had filed a case in the police station. Due to the stress of the case, he tried to commit suicide due to which he got burnt. The young man is undergoing treatment and currently the entire case is under investigation.
