Sahibzada Farhan T20 Century Record PSL 2025: Pakistan and Islamabad United opener Sahibzada Farhan has confirmed his place in history by joining the category of Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle, Shubman Gill and Jose Butler in the specific list of players who scored four T20 centuries in a calendar year. 29 -year -old Farhan achieved this feat during the ongoing 102 -run win of Islamabad United against Peshawar Jalmi in the ongoing edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Pindi Cricket Stadium on Monday.
Farhan continued his brilliant form and harassed Peshawar bowlers on Rawalpindi’s benign batting pitch. He killed Peshawar alone with his explosive performance with the bat and hit 106 runs off just 52 balls, a brilliant batting of 203.85 and 13 fours and five brilliant sixes. With his name another century, Farhan joined the list of Virat, Gayle, Gill and Butler and became the fifth player to score four T20 centuries in a calendar year.
West Indies veteran and ‘Universal Boss’ opener Gayle was the first player to achieve this feat in 2011. After his banging performance in 2016, Virat was the second player to achieve this feat. Former England White-Ball captain achieved this feat in 2022 after achieving this feat and Gill moved to fourth place in 2023 with his brilliant centuries. Before his feat against Peshawar, Farhan scored three centuries earlier this year. Playing for the Peshawar region, Farhan won his team by 8 wickets by scoring an unbeaten 114 (59) run on 15 March.
Within a week, Farhan scored his second T20 century by playing a 162* run innings of 162* off 72 balls. Five days later, Farhan scored another century in the semi -finals of Pakistan’s National T20 Cup. He harassed Abbottabad by playing an innings of 148 (72) runs and gave Peshawar an easy win of 56 runs.
