The outpost is named after the ancient name of Sambhal. In the Puranas, Sambhal is known as Satyavrat. Under the scheme, on December 28, the foundation stone of Satyavrat police post was laid near the Shahi Jama Masjid located in Sambhal police station area and the outpost was inaugurated on the day of Ram Navami. The construction of this police post has been completed in about 100 days. The message of ‘Obhoda, Dharmasya Glandarbhavati Bharat’ is also mentioned by Lord Krishna at the war of Kurukshetra by Lord Krishna at the war of Kurukshetra. Along with this, satellite tower, district control room and CCTV cameras are also installed in a two -storey police post.

During this time, many people of Muslim society garlanded the Superintendent of Police and District Magistrate of Sambhal and welcomed them. Muslim youth Jia said, “We have welcomed SP and DM Saheb, because Satyavrat Chowki has been built, which we were very happy. It was very important to be a post here. People of Muslim society also helped a lot in getting the outpost. 25 people of the Muslim community welcomed SP and DM Saheb.

Mohammad Mohsin also expressed happiness over becoming a police post. He said that it was very important to be the Satyavrat Chowki. We were happy and we welcomed it. The people of the administration are doing good work for us, so we are cooperating with the administration. Another local Mohammad Sameer said, “Satyavrat police post has been inaugurated for our cooperation. We are all the time in the cooperation of the administration and will continue to continue. It is a matter of great pleasure.”

4 people died in violence in Sambhal

On November 24 last year, four people were killed and several others including policemen were injured in the violence erupted during the survey of the royal Jama Masjid in the court Garvi area. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi had alleged that the police post was being built on the land of police post Waqf near Shahi Jama Masjid here, although the District Magistrate denied the allegation.
