The Supreme Court has given a big relief to West Bengal Sarka and has allowed the remaining teachers to continue the job at present. The Supreme Court has given this decision keeping in mind the interests of the students of class 9-12. However, the Supreme Court has commented in this case, saying that no non-teaching employee, whether tainted or otherwise, will not be allowed to work.
This decision of the Supreme Court is like a big relief for this impeccable teachers. The court said that students’ education should not be affected. SC has allowed teachers to continue till the new selection process is completed. The court said that the thing to motivate us to pass this order for impeccable assistant teachers is that the students studying due to the order passed by this court should not be harmed.
SC imposed a condition
Commenting in this case, the court has also imposed a condition. The court said that the advertisement for the new recruitment will be released by 31 May and the examination including the entire process will be completed by 31 December. The state government and the commission will file an affidavit by or before 31 May, in which a copy of the advertisement as well as the program will be attached. The recruitment process has been asked to complete by 31 December. If the advertisement is not published as per the instructions, then appropriate orders including imposing fine will be passed. The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has filed a petition in the Supreme Court requesting that the dismissed employees be allowed to remain at work by the end of the academic year or until the new recruitment process is completed.
