Virat Kohli Fitness Updates Ind vs Eng 2nd Odie After the brilliant bowling of Ravindra Jadeja and Harshit Rana, India defeated England by four wickets in the first ODI played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on Thursday. Batting first after winning the toss, the entire team of England was reduced to 248 runs in 47.4 overs. After this, India won by four wickets by scoring 251/6 runs in just 38.4 overs with a partnership of 96 between Gill (87) and Shreyas Iyer (59) and 108 runs between Gill and Akshar Patel (52).

On Thursday, senior batsman Virat Kohli’s injury against England before the first ODI is not looking serious and the report claimed that the former Indian captain will return to the next match. Earlier, Indian captain Rohit Sharma had told during the toss that Kohli suffered a right knee injury during the practice on Wednesday evening and hence he is out of the first ODI playing 11.

Although the Indian team management and Kohli themselves will be disappointed by losing the opportunity to play the match, the injury seems minor. The BCCI said in an official update that Kohli was not available for selection in the first ODI in Nagpur due to right knee pain. Kohli was on the field with his colleagues soon after reaching the stadium and was warm -up for the first ODI, although he had a neck on his right knee.
