India tops with 21.5% stake in total FDI
According to the Dubai FDI monitor of Dubai’s economy and tourism department, India topped Dubai with a 21.5 percent stake in the estimated total FDI. It was followed by America (13.7 percent), France (11 percent), United Kingdom (10 percent) and Switzerland (6.9 percent).
The performance of Greenfield FDI projects in 2024 was equivalent to 73.5 percent in 2023. At the same time, re -FDI projects have increased from 1.2 percent in 2023 to 3.3 percent in 2024.
India in second place in FDI project count ranking
The number of Indian FDI projects in Dubai also increased from 249 to 275 in 2023. This made India from third place to second in the project count rankings.

According to the report, India’s investment focused in major sectors, with a share of business services 26.9 percent, followed by software and IT services (23.6 percent), consumer products (9.8 percent), food and beverages (8.4 percent) and real estate (6.9 percent).

In 2024, Dubai attracted an estimated $ 14.24 billion FDI, which was $ 10.69 billion in 2023, showing an increase of 33.2 percent on an annual basis. This is the highest FDI recorded in a year for Emirates since 2020.
The report stated that Dubai attracted a record -breaking 1,117 Greenfield FDI projects in 2024, the most in its history.
