After Operation Sindoor, Pakistan tried to target India’s military bases. This information was given by Colonel Sophia Qureshi, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Foreign Secretary Vikram Mistry in the briefing of the Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday afternoon. We did not target any military bases in Operation Sindoor: Colonel Sophia

Colonel Sophia Qureshi further explained that but even after this, on the night of 7-8 May 2025, Pakistan tried to target many military threats in North and Western India including Avantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bathinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Northi and Bhuj using drones and missiles. These were excluded by the Integrated Counter UAS grid and airforce systems. The debris of these attacks is now being recovered from many places which prove Pakistani attacks.
Unreasonable firing on LoC, 16 killed, we forced to respond: Wing Commander
Wing commander Vyomika Singh in the press briefing said, “Pakistan has increased the intensity of firing on the Line of LOC using mortar and heavy caliber artillery in Kupwara, Baramullah, Uri, Poonch, Mendhar and Rajouri sectors. Pakistan had worked to save TRF in UNSC- Vikram Mistry

Foreign Secretary Vikram Mistry further said that ‘Pakistan is claiming to target a dam in PoK. We have only targeted terrorist infrastructure. This claim is being made only to make the infrastructure of Indians to be targeted. If this is done, India will give a suitable reply. Pakistan was only spreading propagada.
