C4IR India was launched by PM Narendra Modi
Let us tell you that C4IR India was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in October 2018, whose aim is to adopt emerging technologies in India and promote them responsibly. Launched in collaboration between the World Economic Forum and NITI Aayog, the Center is part of WEF’s global network of Centers for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

C4IR India aims to reach 1 crore citizens by taking forward its key initiatives and upcoming projects. These include the ‘AI for India’ initiative, which aims to harness the potential of AI for social benefit. At the same time, the aim of the ‘Space Economy’ initiative is to establish India as a leading country in the field of space technology.
Additionally, C4IR India’s ‘Climate Technology’ program will focus on developing climatesmart urban centres.
